Tillies Quilts has been providing the Fort Dodge, Iowa, community with a wide range of designer fabrics, patterns, quilt kits, and more, since 2011.

Owner, Jo Seltz, had daydreamed of having her own quilt shop for quite awhile, but she loved her job as the youth director at her church too much to quit. After several years of patient encouragement from her husband, Jo finally took the plunge and started focusing on opening her shop.

Tillies Quilts (named after Jo’s Great Aunt Tillie who gave her her first quilt), is a quilt shop with personality! Housed in a remodeled, historic building in downtown Fort Dodge, the store features antique furniture that showcases beautiful bolts of fabric, including an old buck board wagon for quilt displays.

Our store is in the business of helping people succeed at quilting! We provide a welcoming atmosphere that encourages learning, creativity, and fellowship. Here customers enjoy a wide range of classes for quilters of all skill levels, as well as block of the month programs, clubs, and social events.
